The fact that you start paying for parking the moment you enter is a disgrace... You can then spend up to an hour driving round trying to find a space, and are still paying while doing so!! Obviously operated by a system with no compassion or empathy!!

Absolute thief, they don’t care about appeals of any circumstances. They’re not human beings.

Drove round the car park looking for a space for 30 minutes with dozens of other angry drivers. And then left.

Been there twice today drove round and round no parking spaces so did not get bloods done won't bother again, why oh why do they not build a multistorey carpark with disc entry then pay at a machine with cash or card when returning to car park, these car parks are popular in many hospitals now easier and safer and definitely more parking spaces than the 224 there are now......

I star is to good minus 1 million would of been better, I got to car park drove around looking for parking space, it was pouring with rain, no machines working could not pay by phone, a man said machine in reception working, walked to reception got ticket took back to car paid £3 so I knew there was enough time as i am disabled just waiting for my badge to come through. Today i have received a parking ticket for £100.00 for parking 1 hour 25 mins in the car park which I had paid for 3 hours. Lucky I still had the ticket absolute disgraceful way to get money out of vulnerable people. Seriously this should be looked into it is THEFT

Parking at Barnet hospital is a disgrace. The company running it are opaque and rude. I was issued with a fine after paying for a ticket and emailing them while I was waiting for my appointments to tell them there may be a problem as I had changed. They said it would be ok. Sure enough. I got a parking fine despite paying. How do older people/non smartphone people cope with these systems? They are difficult and discriminatory. I won my appeal, but who needs the stress and rude letters with no way to complain back explain that it is actually their mistake.

No stars. Parkingeye issued me with a fine even though I paid £3 for 1 hour's stay. It took me 20 minutes to find a space. No meters working in car park so I paid inside at the entrance to the hospital. Unfortunately I can't find my receipt but I'm still going to appeal. Was I charged because I didn't pay straight away after entering the carpark?

1 star is being generous! Today many of the car park ticket machines were out of order - finally found one that worked but only accepted coins not credit card. Machine in hospital main entrance is broken and doesn't accept credit card and parking app doesnt work as no phone reception! Cafe closed so couldnt get extra pound coins to pay by cash for more than an hour and my mum was in in resus a&e for over 5 hours and I had no means of paying the extra hours. Utter shambles!

Dropped my wife off to visit her sick mother. I tried several times to pay via phone which didn't work. I have proof I tried too. Couldn't get their stupid system to work and found out weeks later I have been fined £100. Absolute bandits. I wish them nothing but ill fortune. Have fun with my money.

In the last few years, I have been finding a place to park. And I had to look for parking in the surrounding streets for a long time. The last time, because I could not find a place, I went home without seeing the doctor and asked for new appointment for a month later. They should expand the parking lot or company have thousand profit a day build in several parking floors. Allocate to staff only in the farthest section so we know where to wait in car rather than constantly driving around the buildings.

Parked today at Barnet hospital for 1 hour 30 mins. Put £3 in machine and got a ticket saying £2 paid and returning £1. When I tried to top up with £1,it says minimum payment £2, costing me £4 instead of £3. Tried to top up at home but the parking pay by phone app is not working.

Parking eye are cowboy rogues. They exhort money from patients. They really do target people at their most vulnerable times and pry on their vulnerability. I wish to set up a petition page to ensure they are booted out of hospital parking grounds.

Nov 7, 2019

Paid by phone for 3 hours as i didn't have change and Toady got letter for PCN. I have sent my proof poor really management. They want to make money from PCN

Absolute thieves, both parking eye and Barnet hospital

Oct 4, 2017

I paid £3 for a parking ticket in cash once I had parked. The ticket said £2.10. I queried this with the parking attendant who said it was fine. I received a fine in the post for not paying enough towards my ticket through parking eye. There appears to be something wrong with their parking machine as the charges are £2 or £3. I have found out today I have not been successful with my appeal.I find it very grating as I paid sufficient money and have been penalised.

Had appointment on the 23/08/17 could not find a disability parking space so parked in the many parking spaces on my return I had a parking ticket from the private contractor but I never saw any warning signs to say disabled parking not permitted! I am very upset with Barnet hospital for having this ridiculous arrangement with this private contractor

I am disgusted with the method that is being used at barnet hospital. People are going into the hospital for investigations and medical checks you do the right thing by paying and extending your ticket as and when needed .....however 3 days later you get a ticket indicating that you have parked in a staff Bay however this cannot be proofed. The only images available is your vehicle entering and exiting, there is no visible staffing signs this really is to catch people out.....so please be very careful!

DO NOT park at Barnet General Hospital or you will probably end up fighting a PARKING FINE, ( Absolutely Disgusted ) ParkingEye you want get Parking eyes sorted out !!!!

Apr 21, 2017

Shocking !Majority of spaces are for staff. You can drive around for an hour to find a space. People miss there appointments due to not being able to park.Causes serious anxiety especially if your elderly. Seriously needs looking at !

A good sized car park in pleasant grounds. I felt that my car was secure there and this was probably increased by the fact that there was a pair of groundsmen at work on the shrubs. At £4.20 for four hours, which included a service charge as I paid by paybyphone, I felt this was reasonable. It is a convenient payment method as I did not have change on me. Being at the front of the hospital it was a bit of a trek round the back to A&E but this was unavoidable. Fortunately we were both physically able to make our way to the casualty entrance. The alternative would have been to park several streets away in an area I am not that familiar with.
