Parking in Lexington
There’s lots of parking in downtown Lexington. On-street parking is enforced Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. It is free outside of these hours, all day on weekends and on National Holidays. On-street parking is $0.25 per every 15 minutes. Meters restrict your stay to 1,2 or 4 hours, depending on the area. Parking can be paid with coins, SMARTCARD, or using PayByPhone. Always read the signs attentively, as parking is prohibited between 2am and 6am on several streets.

If you have to leave your car for more than 4 hours, it will be more convenient to park at commercial lots or garages. The average rates are $2.00 per hour, $12.00 per 24 hours and $100 per month.
